Since opening our doors on November 3, 2014, Dharma Kava & Coffee has proudly served Largo and the surrounding Pinellas County community as one of the area's original kava bars. What began as a small neighborhood kava lounge has grown into a welcoming café and community gathering place where people from all walks of life come together to connect, work, study, create, and relax. Over the years, we've remained committed to constantly improving our craft while staying true to the sense of community and belonging that has always defined Dharma.

Our Mission Is Simple: We understand that the world outside our doors is full of woes and we're dedicated to ensuring you can leave them outside when you enter our kava lounge. We strive to ensure our patrons can find some rest and reprieve here. We're servin' up smiles just as much as we're servin' up tasty teas & lattes! We view Dharma as a "third place," which is something we all need. There's work, there's home, and then there's your home-away-from-home.

Today, we offer much more than kava. Our menu features handcrafted botanical teas, locally roasted espresso and coffee, traditional loose-leaf teas, matcha, herbs, kombucha, dirty sodas, and various seasonal creations. Every beverage is prepared with care using quality ingredients, and our team takes pride in helping every guest find something they'll enjoy—whether they're visiting for the first time or stopping in for their daily favorite. All of our products and ingredients are carefully selected to meet our rigorous quality-control standards.

Our spacious lounge was designed to be more than just another coffee shop or bar. With comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, two service bars, a large stage, and plenty of room to spread out, Dharma has become a favorite gathering place for students, remote workers, artists, musicians, professionals, and friends looking for a welcoming atmosphere. From quiet afternoons with a laptop to lively community events in the evening, there's always something happening.

Located by the intersection of 66th Street and Ulmerton Road in Largo, Dharma sits at a natural crossroads in central Pinellas County. Convenient to Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Seminole, Pinellas Park, and surrounding communities, our central location makes Dharma an easy meeting place for friends coming from different parts of the county.
